K2K is a fictional group in the Saw franchise. It is one of the unseen factions in the series.

History

Criminal Organization

K2K was a street gang from 118th Street. Despite their relatively small territory of only four blocks, the gang was well-known and feared for its brutality. Like other gangs, K2K marked its territory with graffiti. One of their bases was in an old abandoned mannequin factory at 213 Stygian Street. However, they had to leave it at one point. It is unknown whether they just moved to another base or if they were expelled by the Metropolitan Police Department or rivaling gangs. It was later reoccupied by John Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer, who used it as his hideout.

The Jigsaw Case

Upon investigating a video tape left by Jigsaw at the crime scene of one of his deadly games, Detective David Tapp discovered a graffito by K2K in the background. His partner, Detective Steven Sing, remembered the gang, which eventually helped them to find the abandoned factory. When Tapp and Sing entered the building, they soon found the graffito on the upper floor, telling them that they were on the right track.

Saw II: Flesh & Blood

K2K was also mentioned in numerous case files and audio tapes by Detective Tapp in Saw II: Flesh & Blood. These documents further elaborated on the gang's past. According to them, K2K's territory was located in the International District. When they decided to expand their territory and drug traffics, they subsequently invaded the territory of the local Yakuza from 119th Street, which resulted in a brutal gang war.

This war came to an end when the Yakuza kidnapped and executed most members of K2K by shooting them to pieces. To demonstrate their power, the Yakuza lined up their corpses along 118th Street. This mass execution was the first homicide case in which David Tapp and Steven Sing worked together.
