Greg Vaughn is a fictional character from the Saw franchise as well as a minor character of the Full Disclosure Report.

The Jigsaw Case

Greg Vaughn was a man who worked at the Jefferson Elementary School in the city where the murders by John Kramer, better known to the public as Jigsaw, occured. At one point one of his students, Diana Gordon, and her mother, Alison Gordon, were taken hostage and held at gunpoint in their own house by Zep Hindle, a victim of the killer who was forced to kill them in order to save his own life. Fortunately, they were able to escape captivity. Therefore, Greg and the other teachers decided to start a donation-campaign by selling cookies at the school and collected the earned money for the families of Jigsaw's victims. On this occasion, he was interviewed for the documentary Full Disclosure Report, which focused on the Jigsaw's early crimes. (Full Disclosure Report)

Greg Vaughn could be assumed to be a highly responsible person who took his job at the school very serious. Therefore he was eager to help the traumatized children and families of Jigsaw's victims, seeing it as his duty to give them a feeling of safety in order to overcome their traumatic experiences.
