Ron Lea (born November 2, 1952) is a Canadian actor and director, best known for his roles as Jack Angel in This is Wonderland, Dr. Oliver Crane in Doc and Brian Malony in Street Legal.

He played Rex in Saw IV.

Career

Ron Lea was born in Montreal and attended Concordia University before moving on to take acting training at the National Theatre School. His career took off after appearing in various local theatre productions. Since then, he appeared in many movies and television series. In 1995, he won the Gemini Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Brian Maloney in Street Legal. In 2008, he was nominated for a Gemini award again, for his role as Cliff Barry in the television movie Victor. Lea also starred in a single episode of Flashpoint, for which he was nominated for a Gemini award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
