Due to her lack of self-confidence, Sidney endured his abuse for a long time and found herself unable to leave him, even though she wanted to escape her situation. Because of these brutal acts, Alex and Sidney were eventually targeted by John Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer. (Saw 3D)

Alex and Sidney in the trap

One day, he and Sidney were subdued and abducted. When they woke up again, they found themselves several feet above the floor and had to cling onto two levers hanging from the ceiling. These levers consisted of sharp and pointy metal parts, which harmed their hands as they held onto them. On the floor below them were several upturned lawnmowers. For one of them to survive, the other one had to let go of their lever. In a panic, Sidney begged Alex to save them. He, however, tried to kick her off her handle without hesitation. Realizing that she had no other choice, she slapped him in the face, causing him to fall to his death as the rotating blades ripped him apart. Covered in his blood, Sidney began to scream. However, she had won her game and was able to leave unharmed. (Saw 3D)

Personality[]

Alex was a brutal and violent-tempered man who physically abused his girlfriend on an almost regular base without showing any signs of remorse. Due to Sidney's fear, he had absolute control over her for a long time. It was evident that Alex didn't love Sidney at all as he was willing to sacrifice her life without any hesitation when they woke up in Jigsaw's trap.
