Caroline Cave (born January 25, 1974) is a Canadian film, television and stage actress, known for her roles in the films This Beautiful City, One Week and the television series Cra$h & Burn. Besides that, she has also had several guest roles in The L Word, Haven, Stargate Atlantis, Kevin Hill, The Associates and ReGenesis.
Early Life[]
Caroline Cave was born and raised in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Classical piano and ballet were Caroline's earliest artistic pursuits. At the age of 15, Caroline was invited to study dance at the prestigious Banff Centre and in the elite mentorship program at Ballet British Columbia. A natural triple-threat, Caroline was drawn to theatre in her senior year, followed by formal training at The BFA Acting Conservatory - University of Alberta, at The Royal National Theatre Studio, London, and with such esteemed theatre artists as Larry Moss, Kelly McEvenue, Selina Cadell, and Toby Jones. She later married Pepe Diligenti, with whom she has two kids.
Career[]
Throughout her career as an actress, she won a Gemini/Canadian Screen Award as Lead Actress in a dramatic series for her portrayal of attorney Catherine Scott in the series "Cr$sh and Burn". Appearances at The Toronto International Theatre Festival include the feature films "Six Figures", "One Week" and "This Beautiful City", for which she also received the ACTRA Award for Lead Actress. In 2004, she won a Dora Award for her Toronto performance in The Syringa Tree and a Jessie Award in 2006 for her Vancouver performance in the same play.
