History[]

The Jigsaw Case[]

Cowan1

Cowan talks to Hoffman

Special Agent Cowan was a special agent working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as both a switchboard operator as well as a technical analyst. At one point in her career, she got involved in the Jigsaw Case, shortly after John Kramer, had died and his vicious games were continued by his successor, Detective Mark Hoffman. One night, Hoffman tried to call Special Agent Peter Strahm, who had started to suspect him, in his office. As he wasn't there, Hoffman was only able to talk to Agent Cowan, who offered to connect him to Strahm's supervisor, Special Agent Dan Erickson, to which Hoffman agreed. (Saw V)

False Trail[]

Cowan3

Cowan gets a trace on Strahm's mobile phone

Later that night, Jill Tuck, the ex-wife of John Kramer, came to the local FBI headquarters to talk to Agent Erickson. Therefore, Cowan took her to the latters office. Shortly afterwards, after Erickson had finished work and was about to go home, he was called by Detective Hoffman with Strahm's mobile phone, but immediately hung up when Erickson answered the call. Confused by this, Erickson immediately tried to call him back. Hoffman then rejected the call and turned off the phone. Therefore, Erickson became suspicious and ordered Agent Cowan to put a trace on Strahm's phone. Eventually, the phone was turned on again, enabling Cowan to find its location in an underground catacomb area at 1293 Sandburst Drive. Therefore, she immediately informed Erickson about the address. Shortly afterwards, Erickson called her again and ordered her to put out an APB on Special Agent Peter Strahm. (Saw V)

Personality[]

Not much can be said about Cowan's personality due to her short screen time. However, she seemed to be a responsible, trustworthy and diligent person, judging by her work for the FBI.
