— Nurse Cleaver talks about building a chapel at Whitehurst[src]
Cleaver is a fictional character from the Saw franchise. She is one of the unseen characters in the series.
Nurse Cleaver was a member of the nursing staff of the Whitehurst Insane Asylum. Like many of the doctors, she didn't care about the patients' well-being and was more interested in keeping them quiet rather than actually helping them. At one point, the patients of Whitehurst demanded a religious area in the asylum where they could pray. To shut them up, she initially tried to sedate them with tranquillizers. However, as this didn't work and only made the patients more aggressive and angry, she suggested to build a small chapel in the courtyard area of Whitehurst to prevent them from rioting. (Saw: The Video Game)
Cleaver, like most of the doctors and nurses at Whitehurst, was mostly interested in keeping her patients calm and quiet rather than ensuring their well-being. If her patients had any complaints or discomfort, she felt rather annoyed and tried to shut them up with medication rather than trying to improve their well-being.
