Can we just talk for five minutes?
— Chris wants to discuss his relationship with Lynn[src]

Chris is a fictional character from the Saw franchise as well as a minor character in Saw III. He was portrayed by Alan Van Sprang.

Biography

Affair

Chris was a young man who at one point made acquaintance with Lynn Denlon, a doctor at the Angel of Mercy Hospital who suffered from severe depression after her 8-year-old son, Dylan, had been killed by a drunk driver named Timothy Young in a car accident. As this incident had strained the relationship between her and her husband, Jeff, Lynn and Chris soon started to have an affair and met at motels to sleep with each other. However, unlike Lynn, Chris developed actual emotional feelings for her and was soon unsatisfied with the situation as Lynn didn't want to file for divorce.

Lynn and Chris

One night, after they had sex with each other again, this caused and argument between them. When Lynn told him that she had to be at the hospital by 9:00 o'clock, Chris thought that this was merely an excuse for her to leave and reminded her that it was Tuesday, when her shift usually started at 11:00 o'clock. Lynn however responded that the timetable had been changed last minute, causing Chris to give in. He offered her to take a shower, which she denied, saying that she would do so at the hospital. Chris then tried to talk to her about their relationship and openly told her that he was unsatisfied with their affair, which Lynn was barely interested in. As she was about to leave, he finally told her that he wanted her to finally file for divorce from Jeff. Lynn however, who was annoyed by this discussion, ignored him and left without wasting another word to him. This was the final time they saw each other, as Lynn Denlon was abducted later that night by Amanda Young, the accomplice of serial killer John Kramer, better known as Jigsaw, and was killed during her captivity. (Saw III)

Personality

Not much can be said about Chris' personality due to his short screen time. However, as he desperately wanted Lynn to finally separate from her husband, it can be assumed that he was actually in love with her.
